Hello Bart!!!
Thank you so so so much for the great pictures and information about South America. We loved the pictures of the Boto and the X-ray fish!! We wish we had some X-ray fish in our classroom!!! Today is day X in our classroom and we celebrated the day by eating Trix and having X-tra recess!! We had a great day today and can't wait until tomorrow! Tomorrow is day W. On day W, we wear white, eat watermelon, wear a watch, watch a Walt Disney movie like Wall-E. We could also watercolor pictures, drink lots of water and wink at each other. Expect a wink from us, Bart!!!
We went on an adventure today too! Herman took us on an adventure. Herman is our worm tour guide. We learned about ancestors and family trees. We learned that animals are first classified into a Kingdom, then a Phylum, then a Class, Order, Family, Genius and Species. We had a great time and we can't wait to go back with Herman again tomorrow. Here is a link for his great site: The Adventures of Herman.
We also went to the computer lab today. We worked on a program called Kidspiration. Kidspiration is a program where we make brainstorming webs and detail webs for our writing. We can make big bubbles or little bubbles for writing and we can also add pictures to make our writing more detailed. The pictures can also replace the bubbles. It was really fun!!
